The Executive Vice President, Provost is the chief academic officer of the University responsible for all academic matters, As such, The EVP, Provost chairs the Academic Leadership Team, is a member of the Trident University Executive Leadership Team and serves in an advisory role to the Academic Committee of the Trident University Board of Managers. The EVP/Provost has administrative responsibility for all academic programs and the operations that support these programs.
The overarching responsibility of the Executive Vice President, Provost is to lead the implementation of the University's educational goals and strategic plan. The Office of the EVP, Provost oversees a wide range of academic activities. Specifically, the office develops all academic policies and works to create and enhance innovative, high quality, student-centered learning environments, while simultaneously, supporting faculty professional development. The Office of the Provost works with multiple University staff functions to implement best practices and procedures with the goal of setting the standard for high quality education. The Office of the Provost is responsible for obtaining and maintaining the University’s accreditations, including compliance with all standards and regulations of accrediting boards as well as state and federal governments.
