New Alumni Association Open to all Graduates

Cypress, CA, March 7, 2011 – Trident University International (TUI), a leader in online education, today announced its campaign to build a stronger and more expansive Alumni Association. Starting last month, the University kicked off an extensive membership drive for the Alumni Association, extended to all graduates of TUI. Commensurate with this kick-off, TUI has eliminated all fees, so the Association is now completely free to interested graduates.

The TUI Alumni Association’s goal is to serve the social, professional and academic needs of alumni. The Association also offers many volunteer opportunities that invite graduates to stay connected, engaged and involved with Trident University. Members receive frequent updates on the latest news at TUI and are provided ongoing opportunities to connect with other alumni.

Many changes and association updates are expected over the ensuing months, including the formation of local chapters, outreach to deployed military geographies, the implementation of the TUI graduate referral program, and a formalized Alumni Ambassador program. Local chapters will cater to the unique needs of their respective members. Likewise, Ambassadors are TUI graduates that will serve as conduits between TUI and fellow students, distributing University information and providing support to all alumni.

TUI aggressively pursues partnerships that offer diverse networking opportunities for our students. Since many TUI students are hard-working professionals pursuing secondary degrees, the need for an Alumni Association that offers such convenient partnerships is prevalent. Members of the improved Alumni Association will have greater access to various associations that will assist in advancing their long-term career aspirations.

Further, Trident University International prides itself on helping active-duty and reserve U.S. military personnel achieve their higher education and career goals. By updating and expanding the Alumni Association, TUI will provide an active community of support and networking to its military students, whether at home, on base, or deployed abroad. This support network will also provide the necessary resources to those individuals retiring from the military to ensure a successful transition into their professional, civilian life.
