Alumni Spotlight

Trident University graduate best selling author, Dr. Stephen Templin, coauthored the book SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy SEAL Sniper. Dr. Wenling Li was Stephen’s dissertation chair and says that he was completely immersed in his area of study.

Biography:

Stephen Templin was born in San Gabriel, California and lived in Arizona, Idaho, and North Carolina before joining the Navy. Although he didn't become a SEAL, he completed Hell Week, qualified as a pistol and rifle expert, and blew up things during Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) Training.

After the Navy, Stephen became a missionary then student, and now he is an international bestselling author and associate professor at Meio University in Japan. Recently, Dr. Templin earned a Ph.D. in Leadership in Higher Education from Trident University International. 2011 has certainly been the year of the trident for him-his literary agent is at Trident Media, and of course there's a trident on his book, SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy SEAL Sniper.

Stephen’s kids complain that he eats their chocolate. When his wife has something important to tell him, he falls asleep. Check out his web page at StephenTemplin.com and add him on Facebook.
