We all know that there is a superabundance of career and job search information on the internet. It can be overwhelming. That’s why Trident’s Center for Career Planning and Workforce Strategies has narrowed down the career/job search website list to three top websites.

Descriptions and requirements for a specific job title can vary widely from industry to industry. No longer do you have to enter a job title in the search bar to find a perfect opportunity for yourself. The websites above allow you to search by many different criteria, including:
- Occupational group or job family
- Entry-level education required
- Median pay
- Number of new jobs projected
- Industry growth rate projected
- Abilities
- Interests
- Knowledge
- Skills
- Achievement values and goals
There are people of many different backgrounds, circumstances, and years of experience. The websites above include tools specific to:

- Students
- Entry-level workers
