Dr. Kristaizell Darby

Dr. Kristaizell Darby, DHA, MHA, is a member of Trident University International’s College of Health and Human Services part-faculty team. Her educational background is diverse. Dr. Darby has degrees in Health Administration and Political Science.
Dr. Darby is a part-time educator who most recently worked for the Centers for Disease Control (Dallas County Health & Human Services (DCHHS) ) as a Performance Improvement Manager, training staff on Public Health Accreditation standards. Dr. Darby’s career has primarily been in Public Health and Health Administration. Prior to that Dr. Darby has held various roles in the areas of leadership, compliance, health care policy, and education.

Because there are so many individualized experiences, this technique often addresses the educational needs of diverse learners this often supports the learning process. My experienced outcomes associated with experiential learning include higher levels of student engagement, and the ability for students to apply what they have learned to real world experiences.
