Jose O. Angeles
Part-time Faculty - Glenn R. Jones College of Business
Dr. Angeles’ areas of concentration are information systems management and leadership. He chose information systems management (or information systems management chose him) as a result of his life’s experiences and the realization of the importance this area plays as a business process and decision enabler. Leadership became an affinity when he realized all the tools, manpower, or brainpower in the world means nothing without proper vision and direction to exploit them. In today’s world, learning is an essential element of being competitive. The following two quotes have inspired Dr. Angeles to help others learn to become competitive:
“A society’s competitive advantage will come not from how well its schools teach the multiplication and periodic tables, but from how well they stimulate imagination and creativity.” -Albert Einstein,
“An organization’s ability to learn, and translate that learning into action rapidly, is the ultimate competitive advantage.” -Jack Welch.
