Dr. Heidi Fernandez
Dean - University College
Dr. Heidi Fernandez currently serves as the Dean for University College at Trident University. She holds a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum & Instruction- Educational Technology from the University of Florida, a Masters degree in Education from Walden University, and a Bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of Florida.
She has 13 years of experience in K-12 settings and higher education administration. She has presented and published work in the field of online education. Her research interests include online teaching & learning, math, and online curriculum & course development. In 2016, she received the Trident University Trustee Award. As a former university student in an online setting, she understands the challenges that students face when returning to school.
Her objective is to deliver a high quality, online education so that students can meet their educational goals.
