- Students participating in the Impact Grant Program may not receive federal student financial aid programs (such as Pell grant and Direct Loans). The choice to participate in the Impact Grant is optional and any eligible federal student financial aid is always available to students who choose that payment in lieu of participation in the Impact Grant. Students will become ineligible for the Impact Grant if they choose to receive funds from any federal student financial aid program after receiving Impact Grant benefits.
- The Impact Grant covers direct education-related costs which include tuition for all eligible degree program courses, course materials, technology fee, and graduation fee. Students are responsible for expenses outside of those paid by the Impact Grant, including but not limited to, transcript and records request fees.
- The Impact Grant will cover any approved session so long as a student remains eligible and Company continues to participate in the Grant program. Taking Employees work commitments into consideration, undergraduate students receiving the Impact Grant may take up to three (3) courses per academic session, and graduate students receiving the Impact Grant may take up to two (2) courses per academic session.
- The Impact Grant is only available for online degree programs specified by the University.
- All applicable University General Grant and Scholarship Conditions must be met as outlined in the University Catalog.
- Students that choose to receive federal student financial aid are ineligible for the Impact Grant.
- Students that choose to receive federal student financial aid during the Impact Grant period will automatically become ineligible for the Grant and their participation in the Impact Grant program will automatically end. Students are responsible for any and all charges incurred for future tuition charges and fees, and will be ineligible to receive Impact Grant benefits in the future.
- Students who are currently receiving federal student financial aid and/or have an outstanding tuition or payment plan(s) balance are ineligible to start utilizing the Impact Grant program until the end of the current academic session and after any existing balance is resolved. Any future federal financial aid disbursements will be canceled at the Student’s direction upon acceptance of the Impact Grant.
- Students must complete and submit all required Impact Grant Program paperwork at least nine (9) days prior to the start of classes.
- Students receiving two (2) unsuccessful grade(s) (as defined by Company policy) will affect the Student’s ability to continue to participate in the Impact Grant Program. Students who receive an unsuccessful grade that Company will not reimburse (as defined by Company policy), will not
be charged by University for that course and University will allow Students to retake the course under the following circumstances:
- If the Student receives a passing grade (as defined by Company policy) in the second attempt of the course, they will be billed and Student remains eligible for the Impact Grant Program. (A maximum of two different courses may be taken with unsuccessful/passing grades in combination (as defined by Company policy) during the duration of the Student’s degree program with no charge; however, Students will lose their eligibility for participation in the Impact Grant Program at the end of the session in which the second unsuccessful grade is earned.)
- If the Student is unsuccessful (as defined by Company policy) in the second attempt of the course, they will not be billed, but the Student is no longer eligible for participation in the Impact Grant Program. Student will lose their Impact Grant Program eligibility at the end of their current session.
- If the Student is taking two (2) courses in a single session and receives unsuccessful grades (as defined by Company policy) in both courses, the Student will not be billed for either course, but the Student is no longer eligible for participation in the Impact Grant Program. Student will lose their Impact Grant Program eligibility at the end of their current session.
- Students’ eligibility to receive the Impact Grant must be specifically approved by the Company in writing and in accordance with any applicable Company policies each session. University or the Company may remove a student from the Impact Grant Program at any time.
- Students must maintain eligible employment with Company (as defined by the Company) to receive and continue participation in the Impact Grant Program. Students no longer maintaining eligible employment with Company will lose their Impact Grant Program eligibility at the end of their current session.
