Trent Orndorf
National Director of Strategic Alliances
Trent Orndorf is the National Director of Strategic Alliances. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and grew up as a military dependent. He was also married to an active duty soldier for 24 years. Trent has over 15 years’ experience working with our military family in higher education. He is active in several Veteran Service Organizations and volunteers with veteran support groups in Georgia. At AIU-Atlanta, he is the faculty advisor for their chapter of the Student Veterans of America (SVA). He is the former president of the Georgia Advisory Council on Military Education (GA-ACME) and served as the secretary for the Council on Military Education in the South (COMETS) from 2010 to 2012. Trent is the current President of COMETS. He also served on the board of directors with the Council of Colleges and Military Educators (CCME) for two years.
Trent has a Masters of Science Degree in Administration: Leadership and a graduate certificate in Training and Development from Central Michigan University. He also completed the Certificate for Veteran Service Providers (CVSP) from Thomas Edison University (Operation College Promise) held in December 2016 at the University of Maryland. He is currently a doctoral student with Colorado Technical University.
