Dale Monteer
Class of 2015
Trident University delivers the product as advertised. The curriculum is current, well paced, relevant, and delves into the important issues of the field of study. I know for a fact I would have never gotten the interview with US Bank had I not completed my advanced degree. In fact, the first gentleman that interviewed me told me the two most important factors leading up to our meeting were my advanced degree and my extremely strong reference from one of their current employees (an old recruiting friend of mine…..network, network, network!) He stated that had my resume been missing either of those items, he probably would have moved on to the next resume. As it turned out, he complimented me on my strong interviewing skills, knowing the vernacular of the HR business, and confidence. I can’t say Trident University gave me those skills, but they certainly sharpened my focus in those matters.
Long story short, I can recall sitting down and really trying to prioritize my educational needs before I ever enrolled in order to avoid wasting my time on an education that would not bear fruit. I am so thrilled to be completing this degree and placing myself in a position from which to enjoy much success and happiness in my professional life. It was hard to look down the road 3 years in order to envision this impacting my life in this manner, but it is finally winding down, and I’m already reaping benefits from my quality education.
On a personal note, thanks to everyone at Trident! The GI Bill® advisors, academic advisors, Professors…everyone…took an active interest in my development and matriculation. I offer my humble and sincere thanks.
