My degree in research and new knowledge will propel me into the future, and really be able to influence my profession; to serve my students better. Also, to be personally able to understand and apply knowledge in an educational setting so that I can make a difference. That has been really important to me just to have that knowledge, that confidence to communicate effectively with other leaders in education, other researchers, and be able to hold that conversation and matter.

I want to matter to my students. I want to matter to education and this program, this opportunity has allowed me to do that. I believe that I can matter.
