Hello my name is Maie Lee. I went from teaching to medical and I decided to do health care instead of teaching. I come from a big family, I have seven sisters and four brothers; all my sisters have masters and I want to be the first one to get my PhD.

I chose Trident because my husband’s in the military and they were very supportive. I’m a military spouse, so it helps me with when my husband’s out of the country. I can travel and I don’t have to worry about attending classes or I can just send the email straight to my professor. They’re really flexible with my schedule and my husband’s military status.

I think the most memorable time with Trident is when my mom had cancer and I had to take a break. Trident was very supportive, they let me take my break and gave me time and when I was ready to come back they welcomed me back.

I would definitely recommend Trident to other students. It’s a great place to be and especially if you have kids and military spouse or just such a really big family where you have so much events to attend and you need that flexibility.
