The American InterContinental University System (AIUS) is
excited to share that Volume 2 Issue 1 of the AIUS Journal of Research
& Scholarship has published! Packed with research and knowledge,
this issue shares seven articles and two poems.

This issue has three articles that center on issues of student success, an
article on what success means today, as well as two articles on leadership and
organizational decision making. Additionally, there are two poems and an
article on racial bias.
Editor-in-Chief Dr. Amanda Jandris shares, How Racial Bias
Policing Affects the Perceptions of Youth about Police carries the
greatest civic and social weight in this current issue. We hope you'll consider
how these pieces might inform and inspire your own scholarly and professional
journey.
About the AIUS Journal
The journal publishes issues twice a year in April and October, and is a free
open-access, peer-reviewed journal. The journal allows AIUS faculty and
students and those outside of the AIUS with the opportunity to be
published, along with introducing interested parties to the process of
