Caroline Norris-Watson is Trident’s Regional Manager of Strategic Military and Community Relations. Caroline is a Marine Corps veteran who served with the Presidential Security Squadron, HMX-1, Quantico, VA (1995-1998) followed by the Recruiting Sub-Station Mobile, AL (1999-2002). While serving in the Marines, Caroline was an advocate for higher learning by educating service members on how to both earn college credits and apply for educational benefits.
Caroline completed her undergrad and teaching credentials with support from the Troops to Teachers program while her spouse was stationed at Camp Pendleton. She taught middle school math and science in the Moreno Valley, California area, and during her tenure, her Marine spouse completed three deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her passion for supporting higher learning for military members continued with new orders to Cherry Point, North Carolina where Caroline earned her Masters in Education while teaching developmental classes at the local college.
Caroline’s passion for teaching and assisting military service members with their educational goals influenced her thesis and earned her a Russel Smith Scholarship in Adult Education. Caroline was a student advisor for military students onboard NAS Pensacola for the last four years before joining Trident University.
