August 25, 2015 – Cypress, CA – Trident University International (Trident) is proud to announce that National Director of Strategic Military and Veteran Alliances, CSM (R) Philip F. Johndrow, has been named to The United States Army Sergeants Major Academy’s (USASMA) Hall of Honor. His induction ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, August 28th at 12:00pm in Fort Bliss, TX.
The Hall of Honor was established in 2006 to recognize individuals who significantly contributed to the Sergeants Major Academy or the Noncommissioned Officer Education System. Those selected for the Hall of Honor are unique individuals who have spent their careers impacting the training and development of noncommissioned officers.
This is a well-deserved acknowledgement of CSM(R) Johndrow’s years of service to the United States and his achievements over his military career and beyond. He has been at Trident University since 2012, serving as a key member of the Outreach & Partnerships team, securing key agreements across the military community and leveraging his network and experience to help the military and veterans in the Trident community make a successful transition to civilian life.
Johndrow is a 33-year veteran of the United States Army, retiring as the Command Sergeant Major for the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center, Fort Leavenworth. In this capacity Johndrow also served as the Command Sergeant Major for the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Joint Center for International Security Force Assistance.
Johndrow holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Trident, graduating both summa cum laude.
The USASMA, located in Fort Bliss, TX, was founded in 1972, graduating more than 120,000 soldiers since its inception. Earlier this year, Trident secured a Memorandum of Agreement securing an educational partnership with the USASMA. This agreement applies to students of the USASMA, facilitating their path to the completion of their bachelor’s degree.
