Trident University International Officially Becomes Part of the American InterContinental University System

December 14, 2020 – Chandler, AZ – Trident University International (Trident) is now officially a member of the American InterContinental University System. This follows the March announcement that Trident would become part of American InterContinental University (AIU).

This new University System model allows Trident to maintain its unique learning experience and rich legacy as Trident University International, but united as an overall entity. The Trident learning experience, values, and culture of strength remains as it always has been, while the name and branding familiar to the community has returned.

Operating as part of the American InterContinental University System allows Trident to maintain what makes us unique and strong, while benefiting from the wider system resources to continue to enhance the student experience. The AIU System model ensures that Trident has the resources necessary to necessary for growth by having access to an array of shared institutional resources.

Through the system Trident will have the capacity to continue strengthening academic programs, the ability to respond to changes in the education sector, and a larger community to leverage across university departments and programs.

Trident understands the power of their legacy and strength of their community of alumni, stretching all the way back to their first Ph.D. graduate in 1998. It is Trident’s hope that this model will allow the University to remain at the forefront of education for years to come.
