February 6, 2020 – Cypress, CA – Trident University International (Trident) has been named to Washington Monthly’s 2019 National University Rankings, placing at #80. Regionally, Trident comes in at #13 for “Best Bang for the Buck” in the western region of the U.S.
Washington Monthly’s National University Rankings consist of four-year institutions that award a significant number of doctoral degrees.
Trident performed particularly well in the social mobility category at #12 on the National University Rankings list. The factors contributing to the total social mobility score include graduation rate, the affordability of an institution, and the financial success of graduates.
Washington Monthly has ranked colleges and universities since 2005 based on what they do for the country – and their respective graduates. Institutions on the National University Rankings list are measured in three equally- weighted areas: social mobility, research, and the promotion of public service.
Trident opened its doors in 1998 with its Ph.D. in Business Administration program. The University currently offers six online doctoral-level degrees as well as a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) Completion program.
