With Trident, you’ll earn your degree and so much more. Our virtual Center for Career Planning and Workforce Strategies will help you take learning and leadership to the next level. We provide online tools and resources designed to assist you in career planning, and job search.

Trident cannot and does not guarantee that students or graduates will be placed in any particular position or place of employment. However, with hard work and our online tools and resources, you can identify ways to thoughtfully and successfully employ the skills and knowledge gained throughout your educational journey at Trident University.

Trident endeavors to provide students and alumni with virtual resources, guidance and support to help inform and empower them to direct the course of their professional goals. The Center for Career Planning and Workforce Strategies will serve as a collaborative resource with students, alumni, staff, faculty and the community in identifying opportunities for career and personal growth that require application of the unique skillsets of our students and alumni in ways that maximize their contributions to their employers and to their community.

Our goal is to provide high quality, relevant virtual resources and tools to assist Trident students and alumni worldwide with career planning and job search. Our services are designed to enhance your ability to:

Career Center Webinar Wednesdays

The Center for Career Planning and Workforce Strategies is pleased to offer a range of webinars covering job search skills, career development and transition. Presented by Career Center and Marketing staff, Faculty, Employers, and Industry Specialists, this growing series of webinars covers topics such as resume development, interviewing, salary negotiation, career transition, assessment, selecting a career field, and what it’s like to work in various industries or for specific employers, – and more!

Career Center webinars are routinely conducted on the second Wednesday of each month and are open to students and alumni. Additionally, all career services virtual events are open to members of our military community, to include Active, Reserve, National Guard, Dependents, and Veterans.

When you pursue your education online with Trident, you’ll have access to an array of student services through our Career Center. Many of these resources are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the AlumniFire and CareerOneStop platforms in MyTLC.  Student support services include career search tools, virtual events and resources, mentorship opportunities, and others.

Trident's Center for Career Planning & Workforce Strategies provides a variety of virtual career events on an ongoing basis to support our students and alumni. These virtual events consist of Employer Information Sessions, employer discussion panels, Career Center webinars, career workshops, and other events. As an example, our long-running monthly webinar series “Webinar Wednesday,” has included over 100 career focused webinars featuring the U.S. Department of State, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Customs and Border Protection, Amazon, USAA, and others. Trident's Center for Career Planning & Workforce Strategies shares information on companies offering employment opportunities through our Employer Information Sessions, AlumniFire Job Board, and other Career Center resources. Through the AlumniFire Job Board, students can search career opportunities posted by both employers and Trident Alums who work with various employers.

Trident University has thousands of distinguished graduates. Many of them want to give back, share their own unique experiences, and "pay it forward" by connecting with current students. The Center for Career Planning & Workforce Strategies and our Alumni Association can assist in connecting you with fellow alums and mentors through the AlumniFire platform.
