Dr. Conna Bral

Vice Provost

Dr. Conna Bral most recently served as the Assistant Provost for Education Professions at the American College of Education. She has over 25 years of experience teaching and leading in online modalities. She has expertise in assessment, accreditation, and program development. She has been an online faculty member since 1994 for a variety of institutions. Dr. Bral has been employed as an assessment and accreditation manager at Midwestern State University and as a program dean for the University of Phoenix. Before working as an administrator in higher education, she was an elementary school counselor.

Dr. Bral earned a bachelor’s degree in education and psychology from Mount Mercy University, a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, a specialist degree in educational administration from Drake University, and a doctorate in educational administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research interests are in the areas of online learning, teacher leadership, assessment, and higher education.
