January 17, 2019 – Cypress, CA – Trident University International (Trident) is excited to announce that its Military Success Scholarship (MSS) has expanded and is now available for graduate level programs.
Introduced in 2017, the MSS program was originally created to lessen the financial burden experienced by eligible students who have exhausted their annual military tuition assistance benefits.
Eligible Trident students in masters programs who successfully complete 16 semester credits will be awarded a scholarship of $650 toward tuition for each additional course, up to eight courses, within a single military fiscal year (October 1st – September 30th).
Scholarship recipients are required to:
• Currently serve in the U.S. Armed Services (including Reserve and National Guard)
• Meet Trident University admissions requirements
• Enroll in a Trident undergraduate or graduate program
• Meet academic standards and maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout the program
• Students on approved Leaves of Absence at any time during the military fiscal year (Oct. 1, 2018 through Sept. 30, 2019) are not eligible
Trident’s student and alumni community, numbering over 32,000, includes talented men and women from all over the world – including over 27,000 with a military affiliation. The University has forged a deep bond with military and veteran communities, showing their support through scholarships and philanthropic activities, such as hosting an annual Gary Sinise Foundation’s Snowball Express event and volunteering to help local families in need.
The expansion of the MSS demonstrates how much Trident values the military community and their ability to achieve their academic goals.
