July 21, 2014 – Cypress, CA – In a continued effort to accommodate the needs of a busy student population, Trident University International (Trident) has recently released its first mobile application. A natural fit for the 100% online university, this free app is available for Apple (both iPhone and iPad) and Android devices.
This new app, which was created in-house by members of Trident’s Information Technology department, is designed to facilitate the lives of students by providing easy access to news, important academic dates, and phone numbers for student services, finance, and general questions. The app also provides a streamlined gateway to the responsive design Trident Learning Community (TLC) so students can quickly access their personal courses and student services.

With mobile Internet platforms exploding in popularity and the steady increase in mobile Internet connections, which is slated to hit 210 million by the end of this year according to a report from IBISWorld, Trident is meeting the needs of its growing student population.
