March 12, 2015 – Cypress, CA – Professor Nicholas Vakkur, faculty member in Trident University International’s (Trident) Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program, just received a substantial review in Business Law Review (Kluwer Law International) for his recently published book Corporate Governance Regulation: How Poor Management is Destroying the Global Economy (Wiley, 2013), co-written with Zulma Herrera. Business Law Review (BLR) is a highly respected law journal that offers a regular source of practical information for legal practitioners and researchers dealing with business law on a day-to-day basis.
U.K. university professor and legal scholar Dr. Peter Yeoh, who reviewed the book, says the book, “constitutes a creditable endeavor to provide a comprehensive analysis of US corporate governance regulation in the era of Sarbanes- Oxley,” further adding that the authors “have largely succeeded in presenting a fresh perspective not just only on the contents of 2002 SO, but also the hugely important enactment process behind it.”
Vakkur is the founder of Vakkur.org, a non-partisan think tank that has been cited by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Senate, the U.S. Supreme Court, and various foreign institutions.
