October 14, 2014 – Cypress, CA – Command Sgt. Maj. Donna A. Brock is a current Trident student, working on her Masters of Science in Health Administration, but she also has the distinction of being the longest serving enlisted female solider on active duty. She joined the United States Army in 1979 and is set to retire on Oct. 24th, 2014 at the United States Army Medical Command Headquarters (MEDCOM) in San Antonio, Texas. Command responsibilities will be transferred to Command Sgt. Maj. Gerald C. Ecker at this ceremony.
In addition to her MEDCOM position, she was the senior enlisted advisor to the Army Surgeon General, Lt. Gen. Patricia Horoho, and based in the Washington, D.C. area.
